I'm not talking about treetop trouble. I have the pacifist rank for almost all of the levels, except for the very first. I can't get through the acorn machine.

Bait the mushroom behind to shoot a parriable spore at the direction of the machine, then simply parry it and get boosted over it while dashing through to get past.

I didnt even use any invincibility special. I just went up and over nearly everything. altho the acorn one did take me a few to figure out.

i was trying to figure it out myself, and by absolute chance the mushroom to the left sent over a pink puff lol.
im pretty surprised this game has so much going for it, this might be a short game but geez they pack in content.
the bosses are just so great, im not really into the run and gun levels, like its fun to learn them and get coins xD
what bullet type do you use? I am stuck with charge shot, it's just way too powerful to not use lol.

in black and white? it's possible, but you really would have to do trial and error. with the one in the video i did , i knew that one i parried was a pink one just based on memeory alone, but the bosses do randomize patterns.
so you just gotts compare, trial and error and go with te flow. or not parry at all xD its kinda hell on bosses like the threatnin zepplin one

actually, you don't need the spore from a shroom if you use the last charm (I don't remember the name) which allows you to use an axe or somthing like that when you parry

ah yeah, i was thinking of that one , too. i like my invincible charm though, it comes in handy for those runs lol
