No audio?
I'm getting no audio from the game at all, other games work fine, system sounds are fine, but this game is SILENT. Any idea how to fix? I kinda want to listen to the soundtrack in-game.

"buy now for £14.99 and dont forget your "in-game audio" DLC for the small price of £14.99!"

After copious amounts of file integrity checks, and an uninstall and re-install, I'm getting audio. F***ing ridiculous.

Yeah same issue.. No audio from Cuphead, but everything else is coming from speakers as usual. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, shut down PC, restarted, etc. Tried to start with no controller, with controller, etc. Even disconnected other monitors. No idea what to do... What a bummer way to start my friday night.

Had no audio at first. tried to fix and run game as admin. Now computer is thinking it has a threat and cuphead keeps trying to update itself...completely lost on what to do.

I wish it were just an audio problem. I have washed my comp of cuphead, scanned for virsuses, and reset it. Clicked install and windows defender is saying it is a threat

Couldn't say, guess I will keep looking, thx!

D4, I had the same issue. I went into my Defender and allowed the "threat". now its just the sounds issue again lol.

Btw, no PS4 controller plugged in, and still no sound (I previosuly had one plugged in, but have since removed it)

Are you trying to run surround sound on a stereo setup? If so, the game may be trying to play audio on channels that aren't available.

Right-click the speaker icon in the notifications area of your Windows taskbar, select playback devices, then right-click your default audio device, select 'Configure speakers' and select the correct speaker setup.

Nope, i'm literally just trying to run it through normal speakers, I've got every other output disabled, there's only one option. Every other game works fine, it's just cuphead that has no audio.

I can't even get my defender to open. It forces closes immediately itself for some reason. :.(
