Game crashes on launch

Anyone been able to get the game to actually run? Mine crashes immediately after the opening note of the opening cinematic when you launch the game.

I also am getting this. I don't even make it to the note, just the static... roughlly a few seconds after it launches and starts the cinematic.

While I own the game from the Windows store (yes I wanted it for console aswell, fight me) I also seem to have the issue of crashing at the first screen.

just keep launching it over and over. after that it starts normally each time.

me too, i had to turn off windows defender to run the game. Windows defender detected a trojan in the game: Win32/Azden.A!cl, someone with this problem too?

Opening and closing it several times in rapid succession seemed to eventually get it to work for me. I've noticed that at the point where it used to crash is the same moment I'd get the Steam community popup in the corner of my screen, so I wonder if it's related to that somehow.

The game was also crashing on my computer. To make it work, i disabled the internet connection and the antivirus (Kaspersky). When launched, the game worked without crashing. For a test i then quit the game and enabled back the antivirus and the internet connection and relaunched the game again and it worked.

Seems to be an Xinput issue in the log files. Game needs patched

I ve got the same problem. I cant run the game even when antivirus is deseable .

If you have Fraps installed, exit it.
If you are using GeForce Experience, disable the Overlay.

I'm having the same issue, I'm not using Fraps nor the GeForce Experience. I've gotten the game to boot up before by hitting alt+tab or the windows key right when the game starts and let it get to the title screen while minimized but that has stopped working, I've also noticed the game usually crashes around the time the Steam Community popup appears so I wonder if there's any correlation, also it seems if you can get it to successfully start once it'll start up pretty reliably until you reboot if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this please let me know.
