Expert mode?

I asked the devs about the differences between normal and expert. They said that for expert they change up the way the patterns are used.

My question is, do you guys think expert mode will have a new final boss? Or maybe there are secret bosses that are optional?

So there's Simple, Regular, and then Expert?
But Regular already looks so hard...

The devs have confirmed expert mode in tweets and the recent achievement list for the game that was revealed

AFAIK expert mode is like a NG+ mode, without the plus iirc.

I would expect a new ending or final boss on expert. :) Atleast a new phase of the final boss

I'm just happy to hear that an expert mode exists. I'll be disappointed if this game isn't absolutely brutal. The complaints in reviews about the difficulty are what sold me on preordering it.

Everybody has their own reasons for gaming and I started with games like Contra and Link so I like a challenge. I hate how so many games nowadays hold the players hands and how developers are forced to put in easy modes because people dont want a challenge.

This is the type of game speed runners live for so it'll be expert mode the way to go, easy mode will feel like a waste of money if oyu can run through it like a breeze
