If you defeat an boss on simple do you get an soul contract of that boss or do you only get it on regular?

only on regular. you can actually advance the game on simple but you'll not be able to beat the bosses in inkwell hell until you have the contracts.

You can get souls only on Regular Battle, that's what King Dice said to me when i defeated Goopy le Grande on Simple.

You have to beat the bosses on regular. I played the WHOLE game on simple, then later had to do it again.

I advice you not to do simple at all, cause the patterns are different from regular, so it doesn't train you to beat the real boss.
