How do i play as mugman in singleplayer now because now when i try to the game crashes is there another way to play as mugman in singleplayer?

Its nothing the devs did on purpose, its how unity files get exported and sorted, the mod makers just need to repack the mod and it will be fine

Should fix itself if you verify the game's files, if you go through it's properties window on your steam's library window

bingo - they just reallocated assets, and added new ones. So things aren't where they usually are.
Won't take more than a week to get them back up
