Does using smoke dash while even in the plane do anything?

It seems to just make a burst of smoke, and thats about it.

it basically acts as a tiny dash which you normally dont have as a plane

Gives you the same amount of invincibility frames, I've had instances where I've passed through Cala's stone gaze, without getting turned to stone.

Ooh yeah makes third phase way simpler. You don't have to sit at her face to avoid hoping you aren't hit by something else or line of sight and time a safe path. You can I frame right through the attack. You get about 3-4 frames so you gota be quick it isn't a guaranteed pass through until you memorize the timing a bit.

That's a good advice to me, I'm currently trying to get S ranks in all the bosses and I'm in Inkwell 3 now. Everyone says that she's a ♥♥♥♥♥ to get an S rank.
