Completing the game on expert

I defeated the Devil on expert difficulty but didn't get the achievement. Don't tell me I have to S rank everything...

Ranks don't effect the expert achievement, are you sure you beat every boss on Expert? The ones you've beat are marked with a star on the stage list

Ah okay thanks. And nope I haven't beaten all bosses under expert, I was just under the assumption it only applied to the devil as it said to only beat it. Thanks for the information! :D

Nah you only need a single S rank to get 100% achievements which is really easy for Root Pack and possibly the slime.Other than that grade doesn't matter for achievements except getting at least an A- on every boss and P rank on all the run and gun stages.

You just need to beat ALL bosses on expert to get the achievement for beating the game on expert.

Expert is expert
You unlock it after beating the game on regular

There is an achievement about S rank,
but all the boss can reach this achievement.

You just need to beat the easiest boss,
for example in first island:
Goopy Le Grande or
The Root Pack.
