But if you were good then you wouldn't have enough issues with Run and Gun levels to cry about them here?

Platforming in this game is about moderate difficulty compared to the kaizo stuff they make in Mario maker lol.
Find a devasating bug like the one where you can still get damaged by pink projectiles despite having parried them? "Uhh, the game is perfect! GIT GUD!"
The Run & Gun levels are more of a chore than something you can have fun playing over and over again. With bosses, it's still fun to die, but with the platforming sections, dying is one of the worst things ever because it sets you back so far and forces you to endure all of it's RNG fodder again.
