Controller or keyboard?

I'm about to play the game but I wanna know whether the game is played better with a controller or a keyboard. I wanna make sure I get the best expierence out of this game!

I play purely keyboard and I don't find it too hard. To give you a general idea, I have mostly B- or higher grades and my deaths are at 150 at Isle two with two bosses and one run and gun mission down. It can get a bit tiring on the keyboard though so do take care of that and I recommend keybinding differently as it helps. I did dash to A since I have a really long piano fingers and most of the time i want to jump and dash so i can just roll my thumb from Z to A in a quickler motion then Z to shift.

This game is clearly made for a controller. As a PC gamer it makes no sense to cripple yourself and not have a good wireless controller to play games like this with.

You don't use a napkin to drive in a nail... Why would you use a keyboard to play a platformer.

Right tool for the job is all...

You can still do fairly well with a keyboard, and just adapt to it. I have to cause my usb controller doesnt work anymore for some odd reason and really. I don't have any real trouble with any of the bosses. In fact I got my perfect run boss fairly early while still messing around with my mappings for the keyboard but each to their own

have you found that switching keybinding (if you've tried switching the jump keybind) makes it impossible to parry (as if switching the key makes a secondary function impossible)? I switched jump from z to a for the first level since it made more sense for me but I've noticed I can't parry the worms even when it seems like I'm hitting jump/space twice on them. I can't tell if it's a keybinding issue or just game difficulty.

i use a for weapon switching, the tab button is longer than my anus

i used to play with keyboard but it was hard so controller is easier
