Focus on what you could be doing better, not what you're doing wrong. Look for patterns, safe spots, pacing, etc.

The charge shot is great for the dragon, so is the invincible dash or whatever you call it

Only the angry fire minions jump, and you can dodge them more easily by looking at which way they face before they jump.

This is crazy, to me, I'm almost through world 1 and I heard horror stories of the two frog brothers only to spend maybe 5 minutes on them...including beating them a second time for an A score.

I feel 'ya... I also suck @ Cuphead bigtime. Or at least that's how I feel about my skill level hearing some people beat the game on regular in about 4 to 5 hours and there are already some videos on YT about players flawlessing expert bosses in the game -_-

I'm currently @ the end of the third island with only one boss remaining, but with a playtime of over 12 hours and I don't even want to know how many deaths. Feels bad... :(

EDIT: I didn't think I was that bad at platformers until I played this game. I mean I beat the likes of Castlevania SOTN in like 8 hours or so which is in the lower end of the time spectrum.

Yeah, I've pretty much mastered the first 2 stages. It's just that last phase. From trial and error I found some tactics that work, it's just getting "that run" that I need.
