true that you can just dash trought the enemy like the clown but it was a suggestion without a charm or weapon in mind, i just started using the autoparry charm and it helps me a lot with the card hitboxes but it was dificult to use in the 7 fight
You should also move all the way on the opposite of where he summoned cards and sit in that corner so he wont hurt you since he mostly switches between left and right and you can stand behind his hand safely.
I managed to reach King Dice but foolishly died due to inability to parry well.
Yeah, but when you're behind his hand you can't shoot him.
I think you mixed up the order a bit. 1: Tipsy Troop. 2: Chips Bettigan. 3: Mr. Weezy (Cigar). 4: The dominoes. 5: Hocus Pocus (rabbit). 6: Fear lap (horse). 7: Piroulette. 8: The 8-ball. 9: The monkey. But yeah, the horse is pretty hard. What I do is get the smoke bomb, and that makes the stack of chip super easy.

I don't know why, but I just adore the names of these characters, plus king dice. Also, for that same unknown reason, there's somethign about the final level's name "One Hell of a Time" that just puts a big fat grin on my face.
Also, wiht Proper Timing, you can choose which minibosses you fight, with a minimum of 3 before the dice himself. 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 are the easiest IMO. 3 especially, for I was able to somehow smoke bomb behind him without getitng hit, leaving him defenseless. The hearts to exactly what you think and restore 1 hp, but they don't count for the 3 hit bonus at the end. You don't actually have to worry about supers and parrys and stuff until dice himself appears. When that happens, you especially need to worry about parrying. He only has one card attack, but you need to land 5 in a row to not get hit. On the other hand, 5 in a row lets you fire off super after super, and he doesn't have a lot of HP to begin with.
Yeah, the HP bonus is based on how much damage you take, not how much HP you have, which sucks on 2-player mode. Anyway, for some reason the parries in King Dice don't fully charge one card, but they still charge a little bit, strangely.
