I disconnected my headset (kraken 7.1 usb). I installed the game. I turned on my speakers. Boom sound. While the game was running, I plugged in my headset again. Game froze up. No sound after restarting. Unplugged headset, still no sound. Reboot, still no sound. Looked at my settings, and they were on Razer Surround Speakers. I changed it to native sound (Realtek), and Cuphead has sound again. So I just have to play through my speakers. Until they patch it, USB headsets don't seem to work.
I use the razer kraken 7.1 just to let you know.
You think that would help with the SFX bug at the screen when u die being max volume? ^^
It's probably ur sound volume being unstable.
Try going to volume settings in your desktop and see if ur able to lower the volume.
