passing the bosses on simple will let you pass

i know that when you play on simple you dont get the soul contract but i was able to pass through to inkwell isle 2 and complete the game when igot all the contracts from the first isle but only passed hilda berg on simple mode. Might be a glitch or maybe king dice is making life harder for you

You shouldn't be getting the soul contracts from Simple Mode, but the game let's you pass to the next isle if you beat all bosses on Simple Mode and halts you from entering the casino (world 4) until you get all contracts.

so technically i could pass every boss in isle 2 on simple mode and go to isle 3? sweet!

but then i gotta get all the souls to get to inkwell hell

It allows players to come back to a boss with the gear they need to beat them on Regular, instead of acting as a wall when you make a single bad purchase.
