Good Loadouts for the Phantom Express?
Hello. I'm trying to find a good weapon, super, and charm loadout for the Phantom Express. I'm struggling with it as a whole.

Use roundabout or peashooter to take care of pumpkins and charge shot to deal damage. Super 2 is really good too since whith chargeshot you actually have higher dps than super 1.

Phase 1 should be pretty straightforward (with roundabout you can even do it super safe by jump and shooting at the far left).

Second phase charge shot the skelly when you can and shoot down pumpkins when they come (parry the bricks if necessary or parry your cart to cancel the brick or move in a more optimal direction. The brick can't move your cart if you parry first). If you end up in a tight situation where you see you're gonna get hit, just use super 2 and charge shot while invincible.

Third phase stay in the middle and lock your shot at one of the bosses. When you see one is about to move, just parry yourself to the opposite way and keep shooting the same boss. When ghosts appear, get rid of them with your secondary weapon or a non-charged shot.

Fourth phase is very tricky since there's a lot going on at once. Start your cart in the left and when the express comes, parry his tail to open the shutter, so you can charge shot at his core (use your locked aim if necessary). He will eventually send out a ring of bones (with or without fire) and it will ALWAYS come from the right side, so try to stay left and middle. When the ring comes down it will start moving left when it gets on the same X-axis as you, so if you jump when you see it, it will move above you, or if you stay on the platform it will move at the lowest. Also when you see a pumpkin try to get rid of it or cancel the brick's parry by parrying the left of the cart, just like second phase. If you parry leftand the right side gets hit by a brick it will stay to the left.

Oh and as for charms smoke dash let's you dash through the phase 3 boss' lightning, so if you are able to time that it's really good. Outside that either get +2 hearts (you get 5% damage reduction per heart, which is not much) or coffee if you don't get use in the smoke dash. Phase 2 smoke dash is pretty useless due to how fat the skeleton's arms are and phase 4 you can dash through the skeleton ring, but easier to just jump over it, and the fireballs are very spread and small.

Here's my guide:

Weapons: Charge and Peashooter (same as above)
Peashooter's for Stage 1 and Charge's for everything else.

Super: 1. Use with caution against stage 2 lackey (skeleton),since his head bobs left and right.
Super 1 excels against stage 3 lackies, since you can douse them both.

Charm: P. Sugar or Coffee. I haven't tried P. Sugar against Phantom Express, but I figure it'd be good if you want to adjust your cart instantly. Coffee's self-explanatory.

Tips: If you have poor positioning against the skeleton, don't hesitate to sandwich yourself between both arms.

Chaser and Spread. that's my choice. and Double Heart for charm, with Super 1. Charge is a bit overrated. Spread does the job as good if not better.

Weapons: Charge and Roundabout

Charm: I use Smoke Bomb for no reason but Coffee should be good

Super: 1

Roundabout for first phase (use it from either side, good to kill those mini-f*ckers that try to move your cart
Charge for the rest

Equipment
Spreader and chaser
Super lazer
Charm sugar

Phase 1 stand on the edge of the cart shooting the ghost with the spreader and wait for a pumpkin to force the kart right use the spreader to damage the ghost and kill the eyes. Parry the kart back right before the second pumpkin comes repeat until death.

Phase 2 stay in the middle Kill the pumpkins with the chaser and use the spreader on the skeleton as much as possible if he gets too far away use the chaser.

Phase 3 use the spreader to damage either head as much as possible it can also be used to kill the ghosts while damaging the boss. Try to stay in the middle so you have plenty of time to dodge.

Phase 4 stay on the left and parry the engine open damage it with your spreader a little then immediately use your super. It should be near death at this point so just open it again and use your chaser to finish it.

The Loadout I used was spread and Roundabout, P. Sugar as the Charm, and Super 1.
A quick thing to note is that they can also come from the left. It happened to me.

Always roundabout :P For the first phase turn away from him and you should be able to hit all the obstacles and go without taking damage. Second phase, just stand at the edge of the wagon and make sure you hit the bats. Third phase, it takes a bit of luck to go through this without taking damage, but you want to spend a super here to take down one of the heads, the heads doesn't have a lot of health, so spend the super at the right moment. The last stage is pretty simple, you might go with chaser here, then it is all up to your dodging skills.
I mostly always use super 2. I think sugar is the better choice since there is so much to parry here, else go with smoke bomb.

parry everything and use a lot of super arts

Lol. Immediately lost interest in opinion when you said to take a heart charm. Lowest tier item possible. Also charge shot isn't at all over rated, spread shot only has a higher dps if you are getting with every single shot at all times which means for the Entire fight, you must be at basically point blank range. Spread is great for certain bosses,but in general charge shot deals FAR more damage. Also the only charm you should ever use is smoke.

I beg to differ about your argument with the charms. There are a multititude of charms that can prove to be useful in a variety of situations. The Double Heart charm, despite decreasing your damage output by roughly 9 or 10%, can prove to be useful. If a stage has multiple things that are being constantly being pitted against you at a fast rate (Faster than cuphead standards, like Dr. Kahl), then it can prove to be useful. Anywho, there is a multitude of weapons and charms, and the reason behind that is to fit everyone's playstyle.
