Sugarlan shimmy impossible?

So I made it to the second isle, beat the wizard guy, and got the super art. Now I'm trying to get to the first run and gun through sugarland shimmy, but I can't beat it. Every time I make it to the last part (The one that looks really small) I shoot the crap out of the boss, yet they don't die. My set was lobber, spread and super art 1, yet I couldn't bet them, even after 3 minutes. Can someone explain why?

On the last part only the baroness above the castle can be damaged iirc and the final phase health bar visual is bugged. You are doing damage to her if you're hitting the baroness herself. Try roundabout/homing for the final phase.

Shoot the lady, not the castle (just saying). Some reported it was bugged and they couldn't do it, maybe you ran into that. Worked fine for me.

To be clear, I was shooting the lady person and still didn't beat it.

To be clear, I was shooting the lady person and still didn't beat it.

Must of been close then if it were 3 minutes. As I said the visual on the last phase of the bar is bugged but you should still be doing damage.

I was using lobber, so I don't understand how it could've been close, they should've been dead. 3 minutes, last phase, using lobber, it makes no sense that they didn't die.

Use the Roundabout. That's the only advice I can offer.

She is not invencible because of tha progress bar, keep attacking and she will die when she got to die.

Use charge shot. You decimate literally every boss using it.. if you don't have the invincible dash either that's a huge mistake. Only charm you need to beat the game. I got all A+ and S using charge shot as the dps is vastly better then every other weapon.

Use spread + homing for that fight, IMO. It never said I was doing damage to her final phase after my many deaths, but I finally killed her anyway when I equipped homing, held fire down and kept dodging for long enough.

I Duno. Homing is easily the worst weapon in the game. If you aren't going to kill her in a minute and a half using charge shot at LEAST use roundabout so it doesn't take ten years.

This is what I did and still got a B+. But yeah it didn't matter where I died, it still said I wasn't doing any damage.

A whole 3 more minutes with charge and smoke bomb, shooting directly at them, still nothing.
