LOVE this game, but how do I progress?

I'm now LOVING this game after stumbling to find a groove with it for the first little while. I'm now having a LOT of fun with it! I have so far beaten the first few level on easy, just to get thru them and unlock more (I totally intend to beat them on normal eventually!) Levels and stuff.

So far I've beaten that first intro level, forest follies, Botanic Panic, Clip Joint Calamity and the Mausoleum. (awesome names btw!) But I can't figure out how to get to the rest of the island and progress past this point! What am i missing!?

Knowing me it's probably something really stupid and obvious! Something staring at me right in the face! Some bridge or shortcut I've missed, or maybe I need to beat those boss levels on normal not easy?? Is there something I'm missing? Or something I haven't done that's required to unlock the next part of the path?

Basically I'm totally stuck and have no idea how to progress from here! PLEASE HELP!

You have to beat the bosses on normal to actually unlock anything :)

Huh? No. Only levels that are locked in the story if you don't beat every boss on normal are the last two bosses. All OP needs is to beat the 5 bosses of the island in order to progress to the next one (For the first and second island).

You literally can't get soul contracts on simple. There are actually hidden shortcuts that allow you to access the other areas of the island, but for some reason I didn't think you could reach all the bosses that way.

You're confusing the OP. You can play all the way to the final map without getting a single soul contract. They're just needed to access the Dice King boss and eventually the final boss.

Yeah I just checked it myself. OP the one you are probably missing if you can't progress is Hildeberg. Go check the blueprint at the top of the map.

So then how do I access the next part of the islands and the rest of the levels in the game? Assuming that by saying "You can play all the way to the final map without getting a single soul contract." That u therefore mean u don't need to play on regular to get soul contracts to get to the end of the game?

So then how do I get to the next level in the game from where I'm currently at? Does that question make any sense? Lol

There is a stage called A Ruse of an Ooze, that is localized north of the forest follies, and is represented by a tree in the overworld. Beat it and you progress to A treatinin' Zepilling and Floral Fury. You can right now, without playing any level before, go to the stage Treetop Trouble. But to advance to another isle, you need to beat all bosses in the regular dificulty
