defeating Dr. Kahl's Robot not giving an A rank??

ok guys as you know this fight is very tough but i managed to defeat the boss with 2 hearts bonus, 3 parries, 6/6 super meter and under 4 minutes but it still gave me a B+ and it doesn't makes any sense since i defeated other bosses on Regular with 1 HP bonus and still got an A-.

there was a glitch before this run though, the robot head that comes from up and down would not be defeated and i had to shoot it for a long time until it got me a knock out. i had 3 HP, 3 Parry, 6/6 super and it still gave me a B+.

it really doesn't makes any sense, anyone have a solution for this?

I think you need to beat the boss in atleast 2 minutes or less...

no! i beaten the other bosses longer than 2 minutes and they still gave me an A- although i had only one HP bonus. here i got 2 bonus!

The time is too high. The maximum time is 2:05. If you have V Sync on that breaks the game's timer, that's a heads up.

What? Why did you beat so insanely slowly. No wonder you didn't get an A. Thats double the time you should have taken.

You need like 3 minutes with robot and 2 hp at least. 4 minutes is way too long, i recomend usisng the super with the flying head to make it shorter.

i went and did it on expert, 2:41, 1 HP bonus, 6/6, 3 start skill and still gave me an B!

You need to do him in 2 minutes, and the time required for each boss is different. I think there are a few different tiers to the time bonus as well, since 3 minutes is VERY slow (my PB is 1:44). That's why you didn't get A-, but a B+.

Are you not using the bombs or something? They deal wayy more damage. You shouldn't ever be using your gun unless ur dodging and firing it for xtra damage when you can't bomb. Use mini form to dodge quick also. I have an S on this fight.

With 1 hp you will never get an A rank dude. At least get 2. Like i said maybe you dont use the super with the flying head and maybe you dont do damage all the time in the tohou phase, thats why you are doing it so slow. One thing i find anoying with ranks are the stars that sometimes you get 2 or 1 in expert for whatever reason, but whatever just practice.

You need to be under 2:05, take at maximum 2 hits (HP at the end is irrelevant to HP bonus, HP bonus is hits taken). I've gotten an A+ on him, time was off by 20 seconds.
