Can't Aim Up-Right

its driving me up the wall, I can aim and shoot in any other direction but I cannot move or aim up right and its killing me. someone please ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ help me escape this hell.

Lock in place, if you're on PC, hold C while shooting in any direction. If you're on Xbox... I don't know the Xbox or PS4 controls

its not that I'm not holding the lock in place button, its that my character refuses to shoot up-right, I will run and hold up, no shooting. I will lock in place and up-right and no shooting. It'll let me shoot in any other direction, up-left, down-right, down-left you name it. its not a problem with me not pressing lock its the game not letting me move in a certain direction, weirdly enough I can move up-right on the map screen, but I can't aim in that direction or move in that direction in the flying stages

Your bindings may be broken. Occasionally the game won't accept my A inputs when just talking to an npc. Reset your movement bindings, and if that doesn't work restart the game. If that doesn't work the next step would be to reinstall...

I changed my controls and its working fine now, but the different controls are ruining me because i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HATE THEM

Well if it's due to ghosting the devs can't do **** about it, it's a hardware problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Im having the same problem they used to work before the new dlc then my bro reset my controls to default that when they stopped working i physically cant play my new dlc because of this problem
