[FINISHED] Cala Maria or Dr. Kahl's Robot?

EDIT: Cala Maria is now calamari. Any tips for the robot?

Hard to say. Both are pretty easy when you understand them. Maybe do cala maria first since the final phase of robot wrecks some people.

I spent much longer on the robutt than the mermaid. Take it with a grain of salt.

Cala Maria. Because Dr. Kahls Robot is a piece of junk, literally. Cala Maria is not so much of a difficult boss when you get used to the patterns.

Cala Maria is, in my eyes, only difficult in the first phase when you know what to do throughout the fight, with phase 2 and phase 3 going down rather quickly by comparison. Kahl's Robot, however, is only remotely simple in Phase 2, with Phase 1 having a vast array of attacks to keep track of and Phase 3 being full-on Bullet Hell with walls attempting to intercept from the top and bottom of the screen while the bullets are flying all over the place.

The robot is by far the toughest boss of the entire game imo

For cala maria's 2nd and 3rd phases stay really close to her eyes and she won't freeze you, just have to worry about dodging the eel's projectiles and the barriers in phase 3

Yeah still stuck on the dr and that damn robot. It’s the last boss I have to beat on regular to be able to fight king dice and Satan

Robot's really tough, took me forever to beat him, and this is coming from a bullet hell veteran. I beat touhou project, so i know hard bullet hell when i see it.

For Khal's Robot, in Phase one always save the middle section for last, as the other two are more pertinent threats and the attacks that replace that section are noticably more dangerous than the attacks that replace the other sections. Once the arms start attacking, stay low when avoiding so that you can stop the ships/bombs from reaching you. Second phase is as simple as taking potshots at the head while avoiding it and the bombs until the next phase starts. Third phase, focus more on avoiding the bullets and walls than actually hitting the boss, as provided you're holding the fire button and doing your best not to die, he'll go down eventually. And don't be afraid to use the Mini-plane if you're having trouble dodging everything in this section in particular.
