How does skill level work?

i beat king dice to get an a but i randomly got zero stars on my skill level even though i was palying on regular. its happened before and i dont get,thanks.

Simple 1 star
Regular 2 stars
Expert 3 stars
everything else is just a random (and only visual) bug

What grade did you get and with which scores in the other categories? As Zashura said, it should only be a visual bug, and shouldn't prevent you from getting an A.

i got perfect on everything but health and i know getting perfect and 1 health gives an a-
