black screen with only sound?

so i just bought the game today, but when i try starting it up, all im getting is a black screen, but i can hear the sounds from the game still. its just that the screen is completely blank. what can i do to fix this?

I highly suggest trying to contact a member of the development team. They should be able to help. I've seen a post for this before, but the solution didn't work. I wish you the best of luck on trying to fix the game, and good luck beating it too. This game's equal to stuff from the 80s on the NES, if not harder, but it's still awesome.

I finally found a fix, this is what I had to do:

I am on windows 10.

I had to go into the registry and delete the Studio MDHR directory. Open up regedit and navigate to the following tree:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Studio MDHR

Deleted the Studio MDHR folder and restarted PC.

Game works and all my save progress was saved.

Hope this helps anyone...

so i just tried all of that, but its not deleting the MDHR folder
like, it will SAY im deleting it, but when i close out of regedit and go back into it, the folder is still there. unfortunately im still having the same issue

(im on windows 7 if that helps)

Make sure steam is not running, then try deleting again. Then restart PC. Hope that helps.

May I ask, how would one send the developers an email? I have recorded the situation at hand, and I wish to send them the video so that they can (hopefully) fix this problem. And yes, "its me", I have attempted your solution multiple times.
