50 hours...
yeah i don't think so.
i really dont know but I would guess, 6-8 or so, with a speedrun type thing doing it in 40 mins. but who cares about speedrunners. I'd say 7 hours is a good bet maybe
If Contra as a series is any indication speed runners will probably finish this game in anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes depending on how many boss battles there are... that's all this game is...
You literally walk around a map and choose which boss you want to fight, sometimes you're given multiple choices or optional bosses to fight but at some point you'll be forced in to certain fights to progress the game.
I'm pretty amazing at Contra so I'm assuming I'll have this game complete on at least Normal mode in roughly 5 hours... I'll die at just about every boss until I learn the patterns, it's just a give in.
It's not going to be a long game at all, it's all about how much skill you have and how quickly you learn the patterns and git gud.
There's also a hard mode setting after you beat the main game so we'll see how nutty it actually gets... Normal will probably be quite mediocre in terms of difficulty.
