Comparisons to Shadow President and Cyber Judas?

supreme ruler 2020 or cold war are alternative titles similiar the battlegoat and paradox titles are better alternatives

I haven't played Supreme Ruler in years so I might be wrong but I remember having to micromange military units which I was not interested in doing. It seems in Masters of the World that you don't have to micromanage them and the AI generals just use them as they see fit.

Shadow President and Cyber Judas allowed for much more totalitarian control over the country than Masters of the World. Certain countries that really do allow that much direct control by the effective monarch will play very similar to Shadow President. However don't expect to run the US or the UK with such a heavy hand. A great deal of the measures you pass are really just suggestions or requests put before the legislative branch.

That being said you certainly could, through a lot of hard work and devious tricks, create a governmental situation within a western country that allowed you to pretty much whatever you wanted to do. It isn't easy, but it sure is fun to have single party totalitarian control over a western superpower.
