I agree. The original Wastelands and Ultima's were IMHO all better on the C64/128. I don't know why, but even the graphics seemed better than the Wastelands re-release for the PC.

Syndicate was definitely an awesome game and it was fun to play multiplayer in a time that almost nothing was multiplayer (over serial port no less!). Bullfrog made some great games.
