Just get the Soundtrack?
I wish Steam would make it possible to buy soundtracks seperately/independantly, since technically they are a seperate item and DON'T require the game to use/play. Does anyone know of a place where I can download the soundtrack other than Steam? (preferebly lossless!) I would consider getting the deluxe version of the game (when it's on sale for a seriously discounted price), it's just this doesn't really look like my kind of game, but the soundtrack is definitely the kind of music I Iike!

I can't talk about buying only the soundtrack, I seriously don't know anything about that.
But you'll be happy to know the soundtrack downloaded through Steam comes in mp3 (320kbps) and flac format.

Yeah I've been hoping they will put it up for sale on bandcamp, itunes etc as I'd love to get the soundtrack but I'm not wanting to get the game at the moment ans Steam only lets you buy the soundtrack if you have the game. That might change down the line, but as a huge game OST fan the soundtracks are very much of interest to me and I'd love to give the money for it.

DLC requires ownership of the game.

Our licensing agreement with the artists on the soundtrack limit us to only selling the soundtrack on distribution platforms where the game is also sold so unfortunately it won't be appearing on bandcamp or itunes

Fair enough, shame though as I'd love to give you the money for a sale of it.

You might be able to find the tracks on the artist's own pages on whatever music outlets they may be using.

Here's Protector 101's bandcamp site as a starting point. :)
