But yeah, seems to me the only thing a jammer does, is making you unable to hijack. There might be another hacker ability it jams as well, but it is not an ability I have used whether jammed or not, so not sure.
So cannot see any other purpose for the Firewall head augmentation than being able to hijack even within range of a jammer, so... maybe the item is bugged?
But I do think that Firewall augment is bugged. I think I will test it before completing the game to see if it happens for me as well, but would not make much sense if it only happens for one person.
1. Slow energy regen?
2. Make cloaking unstable?
3. Make cloaking worthless?
4. Stop hijacking?
All of this only works if your agent is within the jammers range, the target being hijacked can be in the range of the jammer.
And the firewall what does the it do?
1. Stop jammers from slowing energy regen?
2. Makes cloaking stable within jamming fields?
3. Makes hijacking possible?
Anything to add to these lists? What are the answers? I will probably get the Firewall soon. I am almost at the last part of the city, and I will probably test it before going there.
