Report a translation problem
You can fix it if you know how to read the event viewer, but uninstall/reinstall is 900% easier and faster than troubleshooting.
Find the VC++ redist in your installed programs list in control panel.
download the same version,
then Uninstall it,
then reinstall a non-damaged copy.
Or, try a repair if the uninstall offers a repair.
go into your installed apps, find the Visual C++ redist option and remove it, then download a copy from microsoft.com.
you shouldn't get this error, because it means that another installer has put an earlier or mis-matching VC++ version on top of a later one, or the one built into windows.
If you've something recently, perhaps even installed older games or Microsoft apps, their installer will create this problem.
