How do I remap to mouse keys?

I have a mouse with plenty of buttons, why I cannot remap to use them?

Gotta do the middle man setup- Take whatever profile software you like and map the keys of your mouse the in game bindings.

I don't know how many different mice/controllers there are, but I can see how merging each one's control software with each game might become too much work. From that perspective it makes sense to use a common middleman in the form of the computer/keyboard.

Same question. Hate middle-mouse button. How to change this key?

I'm not sure you can change which mouse buttons the game wants to use. I use the edge-scrolling instead of the middle mouse button for moving the view. Never understood how I'm supposed to hold down the scroll-wheel while making damn sure that I don't inadvertently also scroll it up or down.

Found a solution for Logitech mouse. Before gaming you need to "re-locate" the middle-click to any other mouse button you prefer.
Yes, it is annoying to change bindings every time you want to play, but at least it works fine.
