I am sorry but i find it extremely hilarious for this to have achievements
And you should know no free game or software or any FREE thing on steam provides Cards ...

dont say ( Dota 2 TF2 ) They give you 1 trading card once you buy ingame store worth of 9.99$

Burn one video card, and then achieve one steam card. LoL

L.O.R.D.,

I tested this with an NVIDIA GTX880M mobile GPU set, tried and got all achievements except:
  • Max RPM's (fan does not appear to react at all, not manually nor to fan curve)
  • It's OK to be Cautious (TEST button is disabled)
  • Twins (the Intel HD GPU does not count for this one, has to be the same GPU)
  • Serious GPU Horsepower (even with the Intel HD still 2 GPU short)
  • Overclocking at the South Pole (I didn't feel like trying this one in the freezer ;)
  • and none of the GPU clock ones, since the dial won't let me go over 1089MHz.

So I'd say it probably will work for your GTX660M too, with some limitations, possibly no test option or fan control.

* I did use the laptop's own controls to set fan RPM to 100% with this software running, but this did not register the Max RPM achievement. I think this means this software cannot control the fan for this GPU.

Ermm... aren't those achievements a tad... dangerous?

Should we be encouraging people that may not know what they are doing to set their GPU core to 2Ghz???

3D mark also have some "unreal" achievements. Many people can't reach them. And even not every enthusiasts can do it. This kind of achievements doesn't mean that "everyone can earn them".
And of course all actions we doing "at our own risk".
EVGA have warning message on their website, but not on Steam store. 3D mark also doesn't have any warnings on Steam store page. Seems legit...

Oh great... Another program with 3DMark level achievements which can only be obtained by spending tons of money.
I don't see the point. They don't teach you anything about the program nor are they truly difficult.

In fact they actually keep me from trying the program because it will drag down my "Avg. Game Completion Rate" which Steam keeps track of on my profile. It might be a stupid reason but I'm really trying to raise that number so I avoid anything that will lower it.

Turning your expensive GPU into a puff of white smoke at Ludicrous-Speed is a small price to pay for gettting all the achievements. ;)

Seriously though, if people do not apply common OC wisdoms and burn their GPU just for the 'ding!', they probably should not be allowed to operate heavy computing equipment anyway.

I even don't pay attention on achievements. Useless waste of time. Don't care if someone earn rare achievement (they have absolutely same ♥♥♥♥ size anyway as before). Achievements won't give anything. Same I recommend for you.

All OC'king is limited anyway. You won't reach 2 Ghz without mods or\and liquid nitrogen. If you try to do it with air cooling... Then card\driver protection triggering. This is very-very-VERY hard to kill your card by OC'king now.

That's not even the point. What's really funny is that 99.9% (Steam data) of users already have most of the achivements. And half the users have the achievement for 10 degrees Celcius GPU temp. Which is unachiavable without the liquid nitrogen. Either achievemnts are bugged or too many people are using hack tools.
Harry Jul 16, 2014 @ 11:31am
Actually 10c is not that difficult at all my gpu runs at 18 degrees at idle with no liquid cooling
