Any way to disable the Server?
The statistics server has caused conflicts with some games in the past and I'd rather not run it.

If you disable all the OSD items the server will stop running.

I unchecked all OSD items and it still runs.

I found a temporary work-around though until you fix that. I just renamed the server exes.

This is not the case unfortunatly. As deezus said, even having everything unchecked it still runs and server restarts when you close it.

The OSD keeps making the mouse cursor in Divinity Original Sin disappear, so I'll have to stop using Precision or reinstall version 4 until it's fixed. :(

Yup, found the bug we will fix it. You can also set a hotkey to disable the OSD, but the server will still run.

Can we hide the server icon at least? Should we ask for cpu monitoring? Old EVGA PrecisionX with RivatunerStatisticsServer and hwinfo installed allowed that.

1 year later, this still isn't fixed. Installed the newest version of PrecisionX when I shouldn't have. Server was running again, kept crashing CS:GO. After trying every other fix I could think of I stopped the server and voila.
Turning off the osd STILL doesn't stop the server process. I also had to rename the exes.

Precision server is causing game freezes for me as well. I have found if I put the game in the excluded list and then set it to have the OSD on it stops crashing and the OSD doesn't show up. The server still runs though. Hopefully EVGA fixes this.

just disable the damn thing, go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX 16" and rename PrecisionXServer.exe and PrecisionXServer_x64 to something else.

I've been doing that since it was released. Though that's not a solution since it has to be done after every update...

A solution I keep forgetting because I update way too rarely :D

Please, someone from EVGA please tell me how to disable the Precision X server. When I end the task in task manager it automatically re-runs itself in a 2 seconds. Please. We need an answer!

Have you found a way to disable PreX server yet?

Actually had an issue with the program recently: the Server background service was causing my delete key on my keyboard to stop functioning. Since I'm just using it to control my fans I had turned-off all monitoring and been using HWiNFO with Rainmeter to keep an eye on my stuff.

Seriously, this needs fixing though.

Wow look, a smartass. No need to become condescending just because you think you are smarter than us. Please, read the thread first and see the comments. In all the versions we tried, disabling the OSD did not actually turn of the server.
