LED SYNC NOT WORKING

I have a 1070 FTW. When I open EVGA Precision X1 i can't change the RGB colours anymore and its stuck on red which is teh last colour I changed it to. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't even see the option currently with the newest x1 edition of the application, I just started looking into it after owning this card since 2017 and I'd actually like the ability. Some are saying that it's mother board dependent but I don't know.

I'm gonna say that since they haven't fixed it since Precision XOC was replaced with X1, they just simply stopped supporting anything older than 30 series cards with led sync and force anybody with 10 or 20 series cards to use the old XOC app. That or they just horribly glitched it and can't figure out how to fix it so they're ignoring it.
