Apply settings on Startup - unable to disable overlocking - Windows reinstall required
I've accidentally marked to start OC on startup. OC was unstable. After restart when clicked on steam icon EVGA Precision XOC, it seemed it was automatically uninstalled. Asked if I want to install it again. But unable to install it because steam somehow priritised download of Steam VR Workshop for some reason (prioritise arrows wouldn't work).
Somehow I managed uninstall seemingly already uninstalled EVGA program, but settings were still applied after boot (checked in GPU-Z)

Long story short - Windows not being able go to safe mode - seems Windows 10 disabled F8 key feature, needed reinstall whole system from scratch. (Even needed to delete all user files, because every other possibility failed other then regular new install)

Seems EVGA Precision XOC + Steam + Windows 10 = very not recommended.
Maybe Steam integration is somehow messed up.

Use settings on Startup should be somehow more reasonably marked. I didn't know it was set.
Does anybody have experience like this (not being able to reset settings)?

This application somehow broke not usable after OC fail. Otherwise i would be able to set some more reasonable voltage/lower frequency.

(Sorry my english)

It sucks that you screwed up your windows install but its not the programs fault you put too high an overclock on your card. By default the apply settings on start up option is turned off, if its on its because you turned it on.

Probably too late now but it is possible to get into safe mode in windows 10. In the start menu type system configuration and open it. In the boot tab there is a safe mode tick box. Another way is if the PC crashes bad enough to reset itself a few times it will auto boot into a recovery mode that will give a safe mode option.
