This is basically a clone of Tribes Ascend and there was every kind of cheat going on and ruined the game completely. Aim bots, unlimited jetpacks, see you 5000000 miles away one shoted/sniped.

Sir this engine is designed for flak system projectiles to colide with other objects, with barely a lick of hitscan, a aimbot is highly unlikely and players get incredibly good, like i'm a tribes 1 vet, you might play me and think i have a aim bot with the chain gun and the spinfusor and the colt, maybe you can't shoot the chaingun and never miss in some instances but some of us have played tribes for so long we can

nobody who has played against you thinks you are one of the cheaters, and there transparently are working cheats for the game (you can find discussion about them with seconds of googling)

nope. dozens of hours here, top of the scoreboard most of the time, and there are no cheaters.

there are, however, plenty of angry people who cant land shots and blame 'anything else' for losing matches.

I've experienced the cheats myself during Alpha and Demo tests... I've seen videos showing hits that should have registered, not registering at all. To say there are absolutely no cheaters is irresponsibly disingenuous. Then to further go on and essentially say, to paraphrase, "skill issue" is borderline trolling.

It is incredibly EASY to land shots in this game. It's baffling to read comments suggesting skill issues are to blame for 180 degree snap-to-target shots, and shots that clearly hit but do no damage.

If you're not here to troll, you could at least try and explain why I'm allegedly incorrect. But you can't, because your only agenda here is to gaslight and troll. You've already given information about previous titles in two other discussions here that was 100% incorrect. I explained in those discussions why you're incorrect. Cheats are common. You not experiencing them does not mean they don't exist. Your means of logic is a fallacy. The exception does not make the rule. Absence of evidence does not equate to evidence of absence. These are all established rules. You're wrong, and you have been unable to retort with anything other than "Nuh uh! I havent seen them so they must not exist!"

it is extremely common for people who ragequit games to tell themselves that it was cheaters, lag, OP weapons, bad map, their “broken controller,” etc rather than admit their aim wasnt very good.

What do you say to someone who also plays fine, isn't "Ragequitting", but ALSO recognizes that there are cheaters?

I just started and I haven't seen anything off-putting, so take your "u ragequitter" posts to someone else.
