The fact there are 30 players in game has nothing to do with lack of marketing.
Yeah, like it's been out for 2 months now in early access and I found out about it just by chance, also marketing to "Top Gaming Publications" isn't a smart idea anymore, they don't really have the viewer base that they did a decade ago, they need a social media push, whether that's Instagram, youtube or tiktok or whatever.
the game filtered out most players in EA. i find matches whenever i click the button. seems fine to me :)
