The CEO told me, personally, that he was listening to Streamers and the TikTok crowd, and was not at all paying attention to Reddit, or Steam forum discussions. I informed him that if he really wants to hear the community, and make a decent game, he needed to listen to all of the community. I told him to start paying attention to Steam discussions and the Reddit discussions, whether they are negative or not. I gave suggestions, and feedback, only to be snubbed, and scorned by the Discord nutsucklers and threatened with a Discord ban. I explained I still play T1 and make maps for T1, and that I understand what makes Tribes - still, after 25 years - a great game. Unfortunately it fell on deaf, or retarded, ears, and just seemed to warrant idiotic responses like "wE'Ve hEaRd tHe SaMe aRguMeNts 1000 tImEs." Which only proved my point; that they refuse(d) to listen to the community. Of course banning anyone that had a negative thing to say only substantiates this further.
After making the comments about having no hope for Tribes, he promptly abandoned the Discord. Just like every other game and title he has under his belt.
He, nor the developers ever cared about this game, the community, or making a decent product. Their conduct in every aspect proves this. It's a grift - a cash grab, and nothing more.
