If you had searched just for a little bit you would have found out, that Magicite has a Wiki.

Here is the link to the controls: http://magicitedia.com/wiki/Controls

i understand im the same way sometimes :P any chance you can tell me a date on when control changes will be implemented? its fairly important.

There is no known date on character rebinding. Until then, the best thing you can do no is create a AutoHotKey script to rebind the keys yourself. It's not too difficult to do if you can work the Google machine.

its not for me and tbh im not gonna coach someone else threw something like that we can wait for the game

Same situation here. A bit tired of this lazy trend to be honest.
There's no excuse for a game not having the most simple of options.

Was going to buy Magicite so I could play with some friends... but there's no way I'm making them all install Autohotkey... then spend an hour or two explaining to them how to bind their keys.

It's 2014. I'll just play another roguelike that has rebindable keys.

Shame, though. Looks fun.

Lol. I actually laughed at this. You realize this game came out to EARLY ACCESS 5 days ago?

Has anyone checked the game files for some config file to change the controls. I remember a few games I had to do that in, minecraft is the big one that stands out since it was like that for a long time then finally they added control options to the game.

Congratulations on it being Early Access.
But I'm not buying it until it has the single most basic option in PC gaming history: keymapping.
And neither is any of my steam group friends.

Well, then good luck playing other games.

Excellent, last patch introduced key mapping.
On the down side: impossible to rebind dashes and, by default, the "q" is for dashing and for "horizontal -" on my azerty keyboard :'(
One more patch with full key mapping and we are good :)
