But it doesn't work like that for the floaty slime. If one person chops a tree, no one can get it.
Interestingly, using a mage build consisting of gorgon eye, remnant and the (red) dragon hat results in a lack of wood/stick necessity. Stepping stones.
No armor is nasty. At the gold tier it's 12 damage per attack that you're missing out on. At the diamond tier it's 18 damage per attack. This also decreases your durability/ammo/mana efficiency; you'll need to hit things more often to kill them, shoot more arrows, go through more mana. You're always going to be much weaker than during a normal run.
No ore refining means no arrows above Bone/Stone. With a Bat companion though, you'll most likely get some very nice blades and will be able to use good melee weapons anyway. Seems archers get screwed here, while fighters can get out of it OK.
No buying items... heh. Not a huge deal. It might be inconvenient in a regular run, but here since you can't even use any ore that you find, picks (one of the few things usually worth buying) are pretty useless.
Hmm. Makes me want to try it out. Haven't played that much yet, but the "no healing potions" run was surprisingly easy so I might as well try this one out.
