Why though? It would make 10x more sense if it was MAGIC-ite because magic is a main part of the game..
example, you don't say "magic ally" (Magic-al-eye) when you say magically
Do you say the word magically like "magi-killy" or "magi-silly" though? This is the problem I have with pronouncing it the way everyone else seems to do.
Perhaps that's just how you read it in your head at first and a lot of times our first impression of something tends to be come the preference or even expectation.
