Okay, it appears you missed the point. That was an example that I was hoping would illustrate my point but I will do it manually.

The water physics don't work and that phenomenon is an easy to test example. If a fundamental feature of a boat game, the water physics, doesn't work I feel like that's sufficient enough an argument.

The physics work, the difference is that the buoyancy is way higher, and gravity is lower in game, which is par for the course with games, but also necessary to ease construction constraints. Otherwise most ships would sink like rocks, and hover vehicles wouldn't work at all. But within the sandbox, the physics are absolutely fine.
There is nothing more to say here. I'll leave it at I disagree.

I would like to join in to point out that some Grey Talons airships are struggling to fly in the new update, in fact at one point I noticed their most expensive airship spawned at the bottom of the ocean, rather then the sky, although I wasn't able to replicate that bug. if you need more examples look at the terrible AI which lacks basic things that would improve user experience like AI profiles, and better default AI settings for players who don't want to learn all the technical stuff. the game also no longer saves your graphics quality settings, meaning every time you relaunch your graphics are set to default (at least on linux, I have not tested this on windows). if you need more examples look at the second half of boarderwise's most recent campaign stream, where he talks at length about the difficulties he's been having. These sorts of things have always been around in FTD, and calling the game "complete" has not really changed that.

Note: I still love this game and will gladly vote for it, but calling it's current state a finished release is laughable.

Now this, I can second. Vehicles spawning in/under water/land has been a long standing bug, and the AI "controls" are flimsy at best. Collision avoidance is a joke. Tell the AI to not run itself aground or slam face first into another vehicle, and it's like a small child that immediately does the thing you told it not to do.

Haven't had an issue with the graphics resetting, but I'm on Windows. Possibly a write permissions issue?

Still love the game though.

i love how the game looks planing on getting it, but i have been watching things, and something that i think need to be reverted it, add different materals. being able to use just one type makes it too easy. the old system with wood, metal, oil, and ammo seperation will be much nicer. i will get teh game but please make there be different materals and different zones that give different amouts of materals.

example

zone 1 25k wood 10k metal

zone 2 8.5k wood 15k metal

zone 3 20k wood 34.5k metal.

The differance will make it a bit more exiting and force you to move arround more.

Thank you for considering and keep up the great work.
They removed that system because it wasted space on a lot of fortresses and craft. That system was also very redundant and made the game have more work over actual fun. The game is about building and fighting ships not resource gathering, and if it's too easy, just crank that difficulty up. Materials will be much more scarce after that.
It would be very cool to see it as an optional feature though. Like how you're able to pick between centralized and decentralized resource storage and all of that in the campaign menu

They removed that option when they changed the ammo/fuel system to the current one. You're forced to use decentralized/localized storage now.
