Spawn order
Is there any way to get friendly ships to spawn before enemy ships during the campaign? I've lost a string of battles as the enemy spawns in around three times the number of ships I have and restricts the number of ships I can spawn, picking them off easily one by one. There's only so much I can do with the grenade and it's getting irritating.

Furthermore, I can no longer spawn certain objects, like my coastal fort structures, into the game world to modify them between battles. Have I screwed something up somewhere?

Each faction is allocated a % of the total "fleet points" based on the ratio of the total size of their fleet. For example if DWG have 30 boats and you have 3 boats then it's likely you will end up battling one boat against 10 of theirs. Is it "structures" in particular that are not spawning for you, or is that just one example? If you upload your saves in a bug report at www.fromthdepthsgame.com/forum I will take a look and fix for today's release.

Ah right, so if I were to go into battle with a large number of large ships I'd be able to field more ships? Thanks for the information on that front, I usually operate a few large, slow ships so I'll need to rethink my strategy!

On the structures front I've worked it out, I forgot that I had a fleet blockaded elsewhere and that was preventing "non battling" fleets from spawning in.

It's also worth saying that even if I have a larger fleet I'm locked out of fielding some of my bigger ships, is that more due to the arbitrary block limit?

What I said above uses the units of "boats" but the game actually uses the units of "blocks" so if you roll up with a 20K block ship and they have 200 100block ships then both forces are considered to be evenly matched and you'll split the "in play block count" 50/50. Note that you will always be able to put 1 ship into play (regardless of it's block count). You can adjust in play block count at any time from the main menu options screen (a special campaign tab is available).
