Factions.

May somebody give a brief summary about all the factions? Or at least which faction is overall the weakest, and which faction is overall the strongest?

only met 2 so far: The Deep Water Guard (DWG) and Onyx Watch (OW).

DWG are basicly pirates. Mostly ships, some planes. Mostly build of wood. Mostly harmless (although coffin nail can be a pain if you dont know how to counter). Meant to help you get a couple of resource zones early-game.



OW build ships only. Mostly a mix of metal and light weight alloys. They have 2 types of ships: galleoncraft, and castle ships.

Galleoncraft are weaker, and equiped with sails. They tend to have a massive broadside though. The weaker galleoncraft have only basic cannons, but once they have custom HE cannons, they can mean business if you arent fast/armored/kill them before they get close.

Castle ships on the other hand are slow, fat, heavily armed, and equiped mostly with a bunch of long-range cannons. Those are very accurate, and hit hard, so watch it. Also met some with lasers as additional weapon.

Some of their ships also have missiles, many have missile defences. Planes arent "that" safe either, as they also have AA castle ships.

Twing Guard
For me, probably the toughest enemy so far
It have most unique designs from entire game (from my view)
ITs got some stuff like: Self replifing boats, Super missile spamming Manticore or Swarm of Bees
TG also use Laser, Gun and rocket and vessels are mainly from Alloy

White flayers
A joke... they barely ram to ya (they suppose to have melee stuff, but there isnt AI for it)
They use cannons and frag missiles, which can be dangerous
And their stuff is ussaly ultra fast and hard to hit
They use alloy most often, also lots of shields !

The only thing I find hard about the WF is some of their air units.

Onyx watch is the DWG for the Steel Striders (SS)
in the workshop only 30-50 crafts can destroy a Steel Strider Fleet in normal difficulty
in maximum difficulty,if you see a craft from them called "Chronos", run,just run,
get all your crafts together and "try" beating him

Laser ships indeed. And really powerful missiles :P

I`m working on a fighter jet that literaly has cannons which will hopefully also tear things like chronos apart.

lightning hoods; be careful around them. they can mean some serious buisness. they mostly have lasers and i think light alloy but im not sure. only fight them after you beat DWG, OW, WF.

so pretty much the backstory is that they steal technology and use it for their own crafts.
