Game can't/won't repair a lost turret
I'm out of ideas. I have an odd litte craft I built and every time the main turret gets knocked out the game refuses to repair/rebuild it -- even in creative mode. There is a red outline of the turret, but nothing happens and it won't repair from my character, repair bots, or repair tenticles on another boat. Anyone run into this before? Did you find a solution?

There is most likely something blocking it being build, prefab the turret then re-place it and then save it, should work/help.

It is a subobject, does that change anything? Also, the only thing blocking it would be shield generators, the force fields. Also, I added a shield generator to the turret AFTER I placed it from subobjects...would that do anything? 'Cus if subobjects don't get repaired then a few of my new designs are going to need a rework...

a good work around is to make it a subobject and replace it every time it does that.

I gave up and rebuilt it. Nothing wrong with it now. The ONLY difference is that the first design had a shield gen in the turret. Not sure if that can cause and issue, but rebuilding the whole thing seemed to work. I just put the shield gens on the main craft now and project them higher. Costs more power, but doesn't bug my repairs. Probably a one off bug.
