Helpfull tip for keyboard based building! The double tap!

--While in build mode, Double tap and hold the direction you want to move the curser (W,A,S,D) and it will move at a faster speed! This DOES NOT work for Alt and Space(up and down), also does not work if you are in middle mouse block placing mode.

--Initially the curser moves quite slow using wasd to move it around, and sometimes this can be daunting becasue you want to move to the other side of your ship before you start building again. I realize you can just switch to mouse building (F3) and then back again or just exit build mode and restart again in another area, but that gets disorienting sometimes. ---I started accidentally making my cursor move faster the other day and couldn't figure out why it was happening!

--I finally noticed what it was I was doing and thought that this might be a helpful to post because this little trick is not in the controls and I have yet to see anyone explain it on any building tutorials! It has helped with my efficiency of building greatly!

it works when deleteing blocks also. but if its individual not beams it will skip some blocks. i use it all the time. saves lot of time on my hull when need delete deck

Helpful tip 2, When building the hull assighn Corners and slopes ect to the numbers, skipping pressing "E" and findind the block you want its faster on big stuf.

OH and the pre-fab tool is a very powerful tool

i made my weapons into prefabs. and makeing hulls and slopes prefabs also

when picking blocks look under the green boxes there are tiny numbers 1-9.

Oh duh haha! I knew about assigning blocks to your numbers but I always forget to use it! Prefabs are real useful, expecially for learnign to build things! I do mostly custom now though, since I have a decent grasp on the game =)
