Mines

So I recently made a bomber (my first non-test plane ever so no wonder its messed up) and I've got a problem. So it shoots its turret and launches the bombs/mines just fine. But whenever the mines get launched they are attracted to my plane and, ya' know, not the giant, juicy, prime ship underneath it. So instead of going to the ship they bob in the water slowly going towards my plane. Is there a way to fix this or am I doing it wrong? Thanks in advance for trouble-shooting with me!

There are magnets, but how will fins help? The mines don't need to move. Well they do, just not towards my stuff xD

Is your entire plane made of metal? The game's mechanics might've changed since the last time i've used mines, so I don't know if they're more attracted to giant metal planes soaring in the sky, maybe change the arming time, or range of the magnets?

couple of things:
1: friend and foe stops the rockets locking onto your own ship
2: use fins, augmented guidance and IR to make semi guided dumb bobs
3: magnets willattract to ships.

Yeah, I suppose baby IR rockets is a better idea.

No, the only metal parts to my plane is guarding the ammo/fuel storage and the AI.

increase the delay of the magnet and make your plane fly higher
my bomber uses magnets and its fine
