Report a translation problem
If the ship is turning back and forth rapidly, like turning left one second, right the next, then left the next, or overall looks like it is more wagling its rear than moving forward, then I think it is a known issue. At least I have seen it happen regularly with smaller ships, particularly if they have bow thrusters. It basically looks like they steer to fast, causing the ship AI to constantly correct and overcorrect itself.
got it working alot better
i removed the rudder. Personaly i dont like them as i can never get them balanced and my ship rolls too much. I then added a lerge propeller on each corner the back 2 set to thruster reverse this turns your ship. After i did this the ship sailed more steadily every now and again it gets its wiggle on though.
