Is there a point to using any shells that can be fit into a belt fed autoloader? fire rate is crap otherwise, and the large shells don't do nearly enough damage to offset the sheer fire rate of a small caliber gun.

Mabye I'm just doing something wrong?

I mean stuff like, my two metal layer thick armored battleship with 350mm AP guns, getting obliterated by something with 120mm HE shells, roughly the same armor and manuverability between the two
