Railgun accuracy
So i heard all over about how accurate fast shell railgun can be, but when i tested it on a platform, it was missing a crossbone from 2 km. Even after i put 10000 energy just to support accuracy. How do you achieve these"pin point accurate railguns" i keep seeing people writing about?

I'm gonna take a guess and say you messed up one or several of the following:

- Shell config
- Recoil
- Detection
- The gun itself

People over talk railguns a lot without comparing them much to regular guns. They're usually less accurate than gunpowder guns in their optimal configurations. Though you should still be able to hit a crossbones 2km away pretty reliably, be sure to ensure you have enough recoil absorption per shot to not have an accuracy penalty.

Also don't forget to set required accuracy settings on your firing piece. It doesn't help making the most precise railgun if the AI shoots with the standard setting of 2° accuracy... it just means your gun shoots far too early and way off the mark. If your shells fly really fast you might as well use the 0.1° setting that most laser/hitscan type weapons use. Oh... and of course the other things that have already been mentioned.
