Free camera in Adventure mode
Hello, it is me, noob, again!
So, as far as I understand, free, unlocked camera (double-tap E camera) is not available in Adventure mode (if that's true, then that's bugged, as it does work for me, but only once).
Is there any way to "mod" that into the Adventure mode? I am alright with the difficulty increase in not seeing your enemies up-close, but the main reason I play this game is to see my creation cause mayhem, but if it's a long-range craft, I just see my weapons go off and none of the cool explosions on my enemy.

I tried editing my Adventure mode save, it did work, but just once. I was hoping there would be something that just permanently enables it in my adventure mode.

It is enabled. so try disabling mods, verifying game files, all that stuff. Perhaps start a new adventure in case you corrupted your save file.

Did they change it recently? Even in the save state.state file it is disabled by default.

I will ofc give verifying a try, now that you have said that it should be enabled. Also, have not used any mods whatsoever. Ofc, I have tried some 20 different Adventure mode saves, it's always the same if I enable it in the state.state file (where it works once), if I don't, then it sometimes works (also once).

Sometimes it stops working. Save and reload or locking camera onto something else normally fixes it.

So, it's just bugged specifically in Adventure mode. Alright.

I just fiddled around with the settings, if you disable the locked Strategic view, it always works. But once I disable it, gotta reload like every couple of uses. It 100% perfectly works everywhere else, though, that's the weird part.

It was changed a couple years ago. It's just a simple toggle in the save file, it is either enabled or disabled, nothing special about it.

This isn't a problem other people have, so you should verify your game, uninstall mods and all those standard bugfixes.
