make a full swap (alloy to metal) ?
hey guys,

is there a shortcut/command to swap easily all the alloy by metal or something else ?

unless you run mods, this seems to stop it from working. If its a clean unmodded save it'll be fine

The armor retrofit checks all the blocks on a craft to see if they will be changed over, if that scan detects a block that is not supposed to exist it breaks. So mods are ok, just not modded blocks.

i dont use any modded structural blocks, the mods i run are mainly just more, simple weapons, decoration packs, and easy rigging, and it doesn't work AT ALL for me

Those things are blocks. Everything you can place on a craft is a block, doesn't have to be armor.

so that means that any mod stops it from wrking as all mods change or add blocks, and any mods, stop it from working. IT DOESNT WORK, AT ALL, WITH MODS. IT DOESNT CHANGE ANY BLOCKS AT ALL IF YOU RUN MODS

There are some mods that don't add blocks, like UI mods.

yea but how many people actually just run UI mods on their own, its damn near impossible, we all know the urge to push green button is too strong ... xD

it's not working for me.
got no mods but when i try to use the armor refit tool, no change at all :steamsad:

Load in a vehicle with lots of materials and try again.

Lots of people deliberately avoid mods that add blocks because they are all unbalanced and it makes it impossible to share their craft with other people.

The tool requires stored materials for some reason, so even in the designer with infinite materials you can't use it without material storage.
